Seems to me like Logitech is bricking the webcams on purpose, to sell new webcams. Go to the driver details and choose uninstall.Īfter a reboot the camera will be recognized again, as Windows then uses some standard USB webcam drivers again instead of the official Logitech ones, that brick the device (the irony!!). You can recognize the entries where you have to uninstall the drivers by the yellow triangle indicating an issue with a device. To get the webcam back to work, I had to uninstall all three drivers via the device manager. The C525 works perfectly fine with Win 11 otherwise! In my case, I installed the Logitech Webcam drivers that the Windows Updates service listed under 'Optional updates', and it stopped working! The HD C525 webcam just stops working, if Logitech drivers are installed.
